We are searching for a highly-creative Marketing Manager – with at least 5 years of experience in online marketing - to lead our marketing team. In this position, you will be responsible for all aspects of our marketing operations. Your central goal is to help grow our brand’s influence while driving online leads to sales. You will be working from the San Francisco office, at least half of the time and must be San-Francisco based.

Your duties will include planning, implementing, and monitoring our marketing campaigns. Our ideal candidate is someone with experience in email marketing, social media, and content management, as well as being able to fully manage a CRM and CMS. In addition to being an outstanding communicator, you will also demonstrate excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.

Marketing Manager Responsibilities:

  • Designing and overseeing all aspects of our online marketing department including our marketing database, email, social media, and (in the future) display advertising campaigns.

  • Managing vendors to design and launch a Shopify website.

  • Manage website.

  • Developing and monitoring campaign budgets.

  • Planning and managing our social media platforms.

  • Preparing accurate reports on our marketing campaigns’ overall performance.

  • Coordinating with content consultants to ensure the right content is being produced

  • Identifying the latest trends and technologies affecting our industry.

  • Working with your team to brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies.

  • Managing consultants for all aspects of marketing

Digital Marketing Manager Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or relevant field.

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in email marketing, web management, and social media

  • In-depth knowledge of various CMS and social media platforms, best practices, and website analytics.

  • Ability to manage email campaigns with CRM and other software

  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a huge plus.

  • Highly creative.

  • Excellent analytical abilities.

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in marketing.

Marketing Managers are responsible for developing, implementing and executing strategic marketing plans for an entire organization (or lines of business and brands within an organization) in order to attract potential customers and retain existing ones.

They must be great business leaders as well as great marketing leaders. They are responsible for working with executives to determine budgets and targets, and they are often charged with developing pricing strategies for products and services.

As part of an organization, they play a critical role in aligning creative direction with the company’s strategic goals.

Day-to-Day Duties

  • Manage and coordinate marketing calendar

  •  Lead market research efforts to uncover the viability of current and existing products/services

  • Collaborate with media organizations and advertising agencies

  • Brainstorm ideas for new campaigns

  • Coordinate with the sales team and other departments to produce effective strategies

  • Monitor current campaigns, ensuring their staff meets deadlines and complete necessary tasks

  • Analyze data to evaluate the success of their marketing efforts and come up with new ideas to improve brand marketing and exposure
